Camped, it rained. Walked a few miles, decided to get hotel room. Dreams of a 14 mile day shattered. Eh we needed food anyway.
With the rain apparently comes salamanders. These little Orange guys were anywhere this morning. I took a picture of each one. Salamanders are the best wildlife to photograph. Easy to find. Don't move fast. Nature's lazy damplizards.
That's a lot of salamanders. They aren't doing so well at camouflage, though. Maybe you should try to teach them how to camouflage.
